Famous for it’s 365 pristine pink and white sand beaches, Antigua’s nautical roots date back to the 1600’s when Nelson’s Dockyard was a strategic British Naval station.
It’s only fitting that Antigua still celebrates its boating heritage today with annual events like Antigua Sailing Week and the prestigious Antigua Charter Yacht Show.
Starting off the Caribbean’s winter season, this year’s Antigua Yacht Charter Show is set to take place December 2 to 8, 2012. As the event that mega-yacht owners, captains and brokers from around the world can’t wait to attend, the Antigua Yacht Charter Show allows participants to enjoy the rare opportunity of personally experiencing some of the most impressive yachts in existence.
Extraordinary Yachts on Display
“Showcasing the Worlds Finest Charter Yachts”
View the gorgeous sycamore woods and rich leathers of the De Voogts designed 266’ Feadship M/Y Air; marvel at the seventeen distinct kinds of granite onboard the 145’ Derecktor Shipyard M/Y Hemisphere catamaran; gaze upon the curvaceous lines of the Rossi Navi built 230’ M/Y Numptia. Approximately 120 yachts were open for viewing during the 2011 event. Even more are expected in 2012.
Supreme Location for the Ultimate in Luxury
The 51st annual Antigua Charter Yacht Show will be spread amongst three marinas in picturesque English & Falmouth Harbours where super yachts can enjoy all the pampering and respect they’ve come to deserve including 24-hour security, duty free refueling, WI-FI access and more.
No matter which you chose, all three marinas are within a stone’s throw of excellent shops and restaurants like Hamilton’s Wine Bar & Bistro in the former Officer’s Quarters at Nelson’s Dockyard.
