Last Month, President Obama announced that the greenhouse gas (GHG) pollution reduction goals for the Federal Government will be set at 28% by the year 2020. The Marine Industry can help too, by contributing to carbon offsetting projects, which work to ‘restore the balance’.
According to the statement on the White House website, the President also said clean energy investments will create a chain of positive developoments in the short and long run.
